ODC-Has lost 7 lbs on the BellyFatCure!!

Standard

Here is day 5 update w/ a day 6 beginning.  We can all thank Comcast for the internet being down.  UGH!

I am currently at 215.2 pounds after starting out at 222.6.  I actually got up this morning and made pancakes and syrup for the girls and did not have any.  (sidebar) So my kids are not fat like me ODB and myself only allow things that require syrup on the weekends.  Also, if they are eating syrup they must drink water…no juice…I call that a double syrup.

Back to the regular schedule catch up…and make it quick

Breakfast on day 5:

Glass of water

Lunch:

Glass of water

Snack:

Hotdog from quiktrip w/o the bun (YUK but I was hungry)

Dinner: Ceasar salad w/pecans, Tortilla chips w/ Queso, half a turkey burger plain, burrito with black beans, brown rice and cheese(3 glasses of water)

Day 6 Breakfast:

Omelet w/cheese and low sodium turkey bacon (3 slices on Whole Wheat sandwich thins)(2 glasses of water)

But today is Saturday…Pray  for me!

One day at a time….

  1. I really admire that you are determined not to follow the status quo and take your own unique approach to parenting. I also think it’s great that both of you (mom AND dad) contribute to this blog. I grew up in a generation that was characterized by breaking away from norms (born in the 1960’s), one of 3 daughters–so I get the “Daddy’s girls” thing too! :-). But I’ve learned the parenting culture can be soooo judgmental!
I broke from the norm by having my children at 41 and 44 (conceived naturally) and I’m aware of the social discrimination older parents are up against. I’m dedicated to providing support to my age group of parents. Would you both consider supporting us over-40 moms also?
We’re launching a new campaign to empower women who became moms after 40, or those who are planning to be, called A CHILD AFTER 40, for Mother’s Day 8th May. The video is very revealing and it’s getting a lot of interest! You can check it out at: http://www.flowerpowermom.com/a-child-after-40.
Kind hanks to you both–keep forging ahead with parental individuality! Please feel welcome to contact me as I’d love to connect: angel at flowerpowermom dot com. Angel.

    • You know you sound like my wife here. Funny to because you actually are being featured in one of our upcoming post, but there are other things you can drink and ODB does some of those. Personally, I am a water fanatic so it works well for me and I do not want to waste my calories/carbs/sugar on drinks.

  2. Thanks for idea I should have a food log when I start my diet. Good luck to a healthy diet!

By the way, I work for Comcast. If you still need help, let me know. I will be happy to assist. 🙂

    • Thanks Comcast Mark! Much appreciated! I think we are finally up and running. Yes, I found that out when I was actively personal training. Nobody wants to keep a food log and we all should because the eating…most times…is where we are dropping the ball. And remember, we can only improve it if we are tracking it!

      Thanks for the visit!
