As many of you know we are about family and honoring the vows made before God. As much as I love my children, I believe the BEST God has for my family is to remain as one unit. It hurts my heart to see how the WIFE of Dwayne Wade, of the Miami Heat is talked about because she is hurting due to having to watch her husband and children parade around during the NBA Championship with THE OTHER WOMAN.
I NEED YOU ALL TO UNDERSTAND THIS!!! Gabrielle Union is THE OTHER WOMAN. Dwayne Wade has a WIFE! He took a vow to Siohvaughn Funches-Wade and the world is giving her a bad rap. She was arrested the weekend of Father’s Day after refusing to allow the couples sons to be picked up by Wade’s sister.
Dwayne Wade made the following statement:
“Once again, S.L. has used our minor children as the proverbial pawns in this contentious dissolution of marriage action. This court must take action to protect our minor children from further exposure to the present environment S.L. creates while they are in her care and preventing S.L. from exercising her parenting time in a manner that is harmful to our children.
The minor children have been subjected to great deal of drama/trauma as a result of S.L.’s conduct.”
It is amazing how we continue to label fathers as CHAMPIONS for having the movie star girlfriend, even when it involves leaving his wife who has been by his side for years, or driving a shiny Bentley, which doesn’t make you a REAL MAN. When will we realize that the TRUE CHAMPIONS are the men who honor the quotes we made to God over the Cook County court system?
Remember this Dwayne:
“I love you, Siovaughn and I know that God has ordained this love. Because of this I desire to be your husband. Together we will be vessels for His service in accordance with His plan, so that in all areas of our life Christ will have the pre-eminence. The couple has a court date set for June 26, 2012 and I will be praying for the restoration of the family. I believe the AA community needs to see this happen in a major way and THAT will be the World Championship for my community.
I just wonder if Essence Magazine would cover this as an example of REAL BLACK LOVE. One that involves MARRIAGE!

That is the problem, He can walk around with his girlfriend and it is okay and that make his a champion of what? Some men never think how it would feel if it was the other way around! I hope his wife that his to the cleaners and she if the movies star will be around him without money!
First of all when you divorced and moved on you can walk around whoever you want. He do know how it feels cause his ex cheated also, plus she had an abortion. Stop feeling sorry for a woman that is the cause of her own misery.

I don’t know the full story but if it’s true that she is refusing him to see the kids when it’s his time to see them I am not interested in throwing her a pitty party. I think unfaithful men are the slime of the Earth but no woman ever has the right to refuse a father time with his kids unless he is an unfit father.

Black people are so funny always shouting the “Black Love” mantra. You never here Asians, Latino’s, Caucasians, or any other ethnic group belaboring their love for marriage and family. But when you observe those communities two parent households are not rare but quite normal. However, decade after decade statistics point that most families in the Black community are run by single, and struggling mothers. Black men who love and care for their families the way they should in my humble opinion, are an anomaly. When I see them I secretly get excited thinking wow…it’s true they do exist. You may not agree but let’s just agree that there ARE NOT ENOUGH of them!
And regarding Wade if Union was a white woman then the Black community would not be able to SHUT UP about his choices. Oh Lawd, that’s all you’d here about when his name came up! And they would then understand how poor little Siohvaughn Funches-Wade is feeling. Dwayne Wade would be considered A BAD example at that point…until then Wade is THE MAN!!! Because Union is gorgeous, rich and a BLACK woman. LOLOL No Wade is not a champion.

People change everyday. sio isnt the first woman thats divorced and wont be the last. Every time dwade or gabby name comes up, the negativity comes full throttle, but sio dirt dont get mentioned. Seperated two years, then a celebrity gets his time, she goes after her, but the other women was there before n she said nothing. A REAL WOMAN would do whatever she can for her kids regardless of her relationship with their father, she was proven not stable, this past fathers day keep proven the point of not mentally stable. Why isn’t D. Wade’s ex wife held accountable for her own actions which caused the end of their marriage? She’s the one that stepped out and left. This didn’t just happen. We questioned why was she getting so involved with her personal trainer 6 years ago. I remember that conversation amongst my co workers and I, because that’s when we were preparing for Hurricane Wilma and Katrina down in Miami. We didn’t want to believe it either, but security guard at the gate, at the PT home, maintained that she would visit him late night. But it doesn’t matter now anyways cause the kids are the ones affected by their parents shortcomings. I’d be real happy to see their family back together again. None of us are perfect, but love do overcome all.
I tell lots of my business on this blog but only my wife and I know EVERYTHING that has gone on in our marriage. So if YOU believe that is what broke down their marriage….
I never said he should get a pass for cheating no man should. Neither should the woman. All I see is a man and woman in a relationship. Not everyone in a rush to get remarried a second time. I am glad you publish all OPINIONS .
I lived in Miami when all that went down. His wife may have stepped out in the end, but he was mad that was was good for the goose became good for the gander. As soon as he was traded to Miami he was chasing skirts all over South Beach, and this was known by many via firsthand experience or witness accounts.
I feel bad for Siovaughn because she changed herself for him, despite her misgivings. And let us nott forget it was HER family that took him in all those years ago.
